The Main Reason Why Affiliates Fail: Your Guru Is A Terrible Teacher

Mr. Miyagi used to tell Daniel Laruso in the movie, The Karate Kid, “No such thing as bad student, only bad teacher. Teacher say; student do.” I happen to agree. I don’t believe that all newbie affiliate marketers are lazy. There are some who won’t go the extra mile to succeed, but I believe there are many more who are simply just stuck and have no one to guide them to progress further.

Just because an internet marketer legitimately makes millions of dollars online, it doesn’t necessarily mean he’s great at teaching his skill, and teaching is definitely a valuable skill. This is namely the reason why eBooks can only do so much because they often just teach ONE strategy out of many.

A newbie must have the full picture of making money with affiliate marketing and learn the fundamental skills first. Then he can apply the strategies. A good teacher has no problem breaking all of that down and telling it to you in the right order.

So what are the signs of a good internet marketing teacher?

(1) Consistency. A good teacher has no problem giving you a demo of his teaching skills before you sign up. He is consistent both outside and inside the sale page. I’ve actually joined a coaching course where the two did not match. It turned out to be a cleverly disguised scam.

You must know the direction you’re supposed to go in order to gauge if you’re staying on track.

(3) Detailed Legitimate Methods. A good teacher teaches you to comply with internet rules. He explains who, what, where, when, why, why not, how, of the technique he’s teaching you. You must know this so to prevent you from breaking rules inadvertently. If he demos them with video tutorials, even better.

(4) Available For questions. Your teacher should be available to answer our questions in reasonable time frame, preferably a day. It’s understandable that he’s busy, but he should always attempt to answer every question.

(5) He has a forum. Good coaching programs have forums. You need the interaction with the other members who’ve been there before to gauge how well you’re doing. Sometimes they can give you that extra bit of insight at your level that just makes a lesson click with you that much faster. Watch the tone of the forum. If it’s hostile, it’s probably a sign to leave the program. Remember, the coach always sets the tone.

(6) Membership Price is Reasonable. Most online courses range from $300 -$500 per year. However, there’s usually no requirement for you to stay a full year. You may depart when you feel ready. I’ve been in corporate-run programs that cost $8000/year or more than taught 1/3 the information in an online course. You’re paying for admin, business managers, computer people, etc. Then you have to schedule one-on-one phone time with the coach the same time every day. What if you can’t make a lesson? There’s no need for all that hubbub. Online courses with videos are ideal for you to do at your own pace and are much cheaper with just as good, if not better, quality.

(7) Teacher Makes Money With The Skills He Teaches You. Your teacher should practice what he preaches. Otherwise, he needs to point you in the direction to another teacher who does. There’s no point in wasting money on a hypocrite.

(8) Teacher Instills Confidence In You. Making money online is not the easiest thing to do, but it can be done. A good teacher will encourage you and instill confidence in you that you can perform the skills to be successful. He’s not going to tell you it’s easy peasy. It does take time, and you are responsible for doing the work. He changes your mindset to focus on building your business in the correct way. You want to be left feeling confident without anything unclear in your mind.

(9) Good Partnership. Not every teacher is an expert in all strategies. Therefore, he has no problems inviting experts who are. You may be participating in a webinar where your coach invites a niche specialist, a traffic specialist or an any other type of specialist to provide you extra skills that you could benefit from. If you want to make your blog look more like a website and "pimp out" the template to make it more appealing to the eye, I'm going to show you where you can get some cool Blogger templates and a cool script that can make your blog stand out!

Step 3: Now it's time for you to select a template to bring your blogspot to life!

When you set up your blog in step 1, you probably noticed that Blogger has a number of pre-made templates for you to choose from and use. The default template is Minima and if you want to change it, just click on the one you like the most and save it. You can easily change your template anytime you want.

If you find the regular Blogger templates to be a bit too boring for your tastes, you can change them. You should definitely check out JackBook.com's Blogger templates to make your blog more attractive to your visitors. I discovered the site while doing a Google search for "free blogger templates" and found a very clean 3 column template that I use for the majority of my Blogger blogs. Go to JackBook.com's Blogger templates gallery to select a template that catches your eye. And I hid that dorky Blogger navigation bar that appears at the top of your blogspot by adding a cool little script that I discovered at Derya's WebResource.axd. Just copy and paste the script below the head tag in the HTML of your blog's template (don't forget to save it).

(Note: Before making any changes to your blog's template, you should save a copy of it on your computer. That way if you mess something up, you can easily restore it. It will also save you time when setting up new blogs.)

You can also add or delete page elements or change the fonts & colors of your blogspot from the Template tab under Edit Layout.

Here are 3 tips I want to share with you on creating the blog content you need to get approved for Google Adsense:

Tip No. 1: Stay clear of Spam topics

Don't choose topics like debt consolidation, Mesothelioma , or credit card debt as blog topics to get your Adsense publisher ID.

Tip No. 2: Don't keyword stuff your blog posts

Don't over use your primary keyword phrase in your posts. A good formula to follow is to have your primary search term appear in the title of the post, in the first sentence of the first paragraph of the first sentence, in the middle paragraph and in the last sentence of the last paragraph of the post.

Tip No. 3: Write 3 - 4 solid posts for your blog

By "solid" I mean informative. You're going to publish to your blog every other day. For example, if you make your first post on Monday, you'll make your second post on Wednesday and your third post on Friday.

You could do what I did as an alternative. I created 2 detailed, informative posts on my subject. I spaced the posts 2 days apart, added a detailed topic related "About" page and added an RSS feed covering news about my topic. The day after I made the second post, a Saturday, I applied for my Adsense publisher ID. I was approved the same day.

The key to getting approved on my first attempt? I believe the key to my getting my Adsense publisher ID was the quality of my content, which was a direct result of my in-depth knowledge of my topic and just a teeny little bit of writing ability :-).

Komen korang kat previous post belum sempat di balas. Mana lagi nak handle blog-blog yang lain. It’s time consuming. AKu belum bagitau korang lagi aplikasi apa yang aKu guna untuk layan twitter. Tak pa nanti aKu bagitau. Sekarang korang baca dulu post ni.

Apa kaitan personal blog dengan twitter ni? Mestila ada kaitan. Korang follow seseorang tu sebab nak tau perkembangan diri dia kan? Lain la kalau korang guna Twitter untuk tujuan buat duit memang korang akan follow sesapa saja. Tambah-tambah dah banyak software yang mengauto follow.

Sekarang ni business dan personal blogging dah semakin mendapat perhatian media. Tak kira la media online ke offline ke. Jangan sampai dapat perhatian polis macam blogger aduka sudah la. Tu lain cerita namanya. aKu sendiri dah 4 kali di interview online. Walaupun bukan sesapa pun yang interview tapi aKu rasa ia cukup buatkan aKu rasa di hargai dalam dunia blogging.

#1 - Personal blog membolehkan korang share tentang diri anda. Share tentang lifestyle korang kepada visitors korang. Kalau korang ada biz blog korang juga boleh share tentang semua ni kat business blog korang. Kalau korang menulis terlalu banyak tentang personal life korang kat business blog, korang akan nampak tak professional.

#2 – Korang boleh post apa saja yang korang rasa kat blog korang. Contohnya korang putus cinta. Korang boleh luahkan segala-galanya kat blog korang. Kan melapangkan fikiran korang? Tambahan kalau ada orang komen bagi kata semangat lagi la memotivasikan diri korang. Betul tak?

#3 – Dunia blogging tak dapat dipisah dengan masalah. Masalah coding, server, hosting dan domain (especially la). Dengan ada nya blog personal korang boleh je post masalah korang dalam tu. Pasti ramai yang sudi membantu. Bloggers Malaysia ni semua ringan tulang.

#4 – Korang boleh expand influences korang. Kalu korang blogging tentang business tak kan la tiba-tiba korang nak post pasal Chelshit lawan Arsengal kot. Dengan ada nye personal blog, korang boleh share minat korang yang lain.

#5 – Korang tau tak yang korang ni sentiasa ada silent readers? Ye semua bloggers ada silent readers. Tapi kenapa dorang tak penah involve dalam discussion? Sebab korang cuma blogging pasal biz.
